Christmas Traditions Christmas Tags - 2 Crafty Chipboard

Just popping in today to share my second DT project for December for 2 Crafty Chipboard.   I have created a set of Christmas Tags for my second share.

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Wicker Christmas Wreaths

*Card - Word Circle Set - Christmas

*Corner Sweet Holly

I have used the gorgeous Unmistakable Creations 'Christmas Traditions' Collection to create the base for my Tags.  I coloured the Mini Reindeer chippies with Kaiser Gold Shimmer Spray.  The Sweet Holly Corner chippie pieces with Dirty Martini Dylusions Shimmer Spray and once dry I gave them a light spray with the Kaiser Gold Shimmer Spray.  To colour the Wicker Christmas Wreath and Card - Word Circle Set - Christmas chippies I sprayed a mixture of Dirty Martini Dylusions Shimmer, Kaiser Gold Shimmer & Red Iridescent Sprays onto some acetate and then smooched all the chippie pieces in the sprays until they were fully coloured.  To construct each of my tags I added lots of fussy cut elements from the Christmas Traditions Collection, added the chippie pieces to each and finished them off with pretty Christmas paper blooms.

Holly Jolly Christmas Star - 2 Crafty Chipboard

Just popping in to share a bonus DT project for December for 2 Crafty Chipboard.  I have altered a Wooden Star for  Christmas.

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Merry Christmas with Holly Branch

*Corners Thick Vine

*Poinsettia Set

*Foliage Set 18

I have used the gorgeous Mintay 'Holly Jolly' Collection to create the base for my star.

To colour my Merry Christmas chippie I painted on some Dylusions Dirty Martini onto the leaves, I painted Kaiser Red Iridescent Spray onto the berries and once it was dry I sprayed the whole piece with Kaiser Gold Shimmer Spray.  The Corner Thick Vine chippie was coloured with Chopped Pesto Dylusions Spray and once dry I dabbed on some Kaiser Gold Shimmer Spray.  The Poinsettia chippie I coloured with a mixture of Kaiser Red Iridescent & Gold Shimmer Sprays.  The Foliage chippies were first given a coat of gesso and then coloured with a mixture of Kaiser Red Iridescent & Gold Shimmer Sprays.

I decorated the star using fussy cut elements from the Holly Jolly Collection, added some coordinating paper blooms.  I tucked in the Corner Vine & Foliage Chippies amongst the fussy cut elements.  Added the Poinsettia chippie to the top left of my star and finished off by adding the Merry Christmas Title chippie.

Family - 2 Crafty Chipboard

Just popping in today to share the first of my DT projects for December for 2 Crafty Chipboard.  I have created a layout.

*11" Circle Revolution Frames

*Family - Loopy Font

I have used the beautiful Paper Rose 'Beautiful Savannah - Fauna' Collection to create the base for my Layout.

I coloured the Family & 2024 chippie pieces with Heidi Swapp Chartreuse Color Shine Spray and I kept the Circle Revolution Frame chippies raw.  

Once I had added my photo to the centre of my page, I added lots of fussy cut elements from the paper collection and used them to embellish around my photo. I cut the smallest Circle Revolution Frame in half and tucked a half under the top and a one half under the bottom of my photo.  I added lots of beautiful paper blooms and to finish my page added the family title to the bottom left of the my photo and the 2024 to the top right of my page.

Altered Blossom Serenity Drawers - 2 Crafty Chipboard

Just popping in today to share the last of my DT projects for November for 2 Crafty Chipboard.  I have altered a Wooden Set of Drawers.  I created a set of these drawers in Purple tones a while back and gifted them to a work colleague for one of his daughters as she loves the colour Purple.  As he has two daughters and the other one loves Pink and because I love making anything BTP I was more than happy to create another set in Pink tones.  And couldn't give a set to one and not to the other lol!

I have used the stunning Mintay "Blossom Serenity" Collection to decorate my drawers.  

I gave the Mollie's Butterflies & Photo Adornment - Element Set 3 chippie pieces a light coat of gesso and once dry I painted them with some Dylusions Rose Quartz paint.  I coloured the Photo Adornment - Adornments Set 1 chippies with Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine Spray.

 I decorated each of the drawers with assorted die cut elements and paper blooms.  I cut one of the Photo Adornment Element chippies in half and added a half to a top and bottom drawer amongst the die cut elements and the paper blooms.  I added some of the Flourish Motif chippies from the Adornments Set 1 to a couple of the drawers.  I decorated the top of the drawers with more die cut elements and paper blooms, tucked in the Mollie's Butterflies, Flourish Motifs from the Adornments Set 1& a Photo Adornment Element chippies amongst the embellishments and then added one of the Border Motifs from the Adornments Set 1 along the front.

Altered Christmas Wreath - 2 Crafty Chipboard

Just popping in to share my first project for 2 Crafty Chipboard Design Team for November.  I have altered a Christmas Wreath that I picked up from Kmart for my first share.

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Holly Twig Branches

*Celebration Swirls

The wreath before I altered it.

I coloured the Poinsettia chippies with a mixture of Kaisercraft Red Iridescent & Gold Shimmer Sprays and the edges I painted with Brush Leaf Interior Antique Gold Paint.  The Holly Twig Branch chippies I coloured with Kaisercraft Rose Gold Iridescent & Gold Shimmer Sprays.  The Celebration Swirl chippies have been coloured with Heidi Swapp Chartreuse Color Shine and the Merry Christmas chippie I coloured with Kaisercraft Gold Shimmer Spray.

To construct the wreath I added all my Poinsettia chippie pieces first and then added my paper blooms.

I then tucked in the Holly Twig Branch chippies amongst the Poinsettia chippies and paper blooms.  I kept some of them as is and some of them I cut into pieces.

I add the Merry Christmas chippie title along the bottom of the Wreath and finished if off by randomly dabbing on some gesso onto the Wreath, chippie pieces and paper blooms to give it a snow like effect.

Rust & Rose Cards - 2 Crafty Chipboard

Just popping in today to share the last of my DT projects for October for 2 Crafty Chipboard.   I have created a set cards for my second share.

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Card - Word Circle Set - Happy Birthday

*Foliage Set 15

*6" Doily Border

*Frame Doilies

I created each of my card bases using the gorgeous new Mintay "Rust & Rose" Paper Collection. 

I coloured the Happy Birthday, Frame Doily & Doily Border chippie pieces with Heidi Swapp Raspberry Color Shine Spray.   I then used Heidi Swapp Mustard Color Shine Spray to colour the Foliage chippie pieces.  

To construct each of the cards I added either a Frame Doily which I cut in half or the Doily Border chippies to each.  I 

then embellished them paper blooms. I tucked in the Foliage chippies amongst the blooms and finished each card with a chippie Sentiment from the Card - Word Circle Set - Happy Birthday.
